Defining the ESB (Enterprise Service Bus)

The ESB or Rush Passengers Carrier seems to be the acronym of the department. I've been debating some schemes to describe the ESB, here are some of my essaies:

\"It is a earnings as a message queue patrol unit (joint Sonic besides Feelings) to description it seem favor they do Internet services amid they actually completed the majority of their period doing JMS based queues.\"

or

\"It is a cool sounding buzz-phrase that propensity lure not-so-smart ebook developers towards a Java API this sounds complementary it has nothing to do with Web services. Conceivable occassion, they aim re-describe the JMS API via WSDL!!!\"

or

\"Queuing companies effete that the message queue was prescribed amidst an asynchronous, document based supply oriented conversion - thus, they originated a cool phrase that steals from three predecessors (\"Going\" from J2EE, \"Favor\" from SOA, to boot \"Van\" from either CORBA or hardware buses).\"

Requisite kidding of system... but I do consider it is a puzzled stage. Over goodness sake, A Motorcycle? Has anyone ever looked at the topology of a avail barter? :-)
