Hi Melek

I just have been reading what you wrote and the replies you have
recieved. I can totally understand how you feel and im sure as i can
see from the responses there are many like us. I was born in London
and have lived there all my life and understand the feeling that you
sometimes feel that you dont know what is home.

Instead of dwelling on the negative you should see it as "us" those
people who are lucky enough to have dual or even triple nationalities
are extremely blessed as we can pick out the best from each country
concerned and attribute it to ourselves, beliefs and our culture so
that enriches us so much as person as it does not narrow us to just
one place.

when I go to Egypt I enjoy it and take from it what enriches me and
what i like and from London also even though my thoughts and my
mannerisms will make me stand out from the crowd in Egypt as they are
very English naturally but it only makes people more interested in
knowing you and being your friend. I am lucky enough to have had that
as my experience.

yes you will get the odd negative response but that is only due to
somethings not crossing over to well in other languages, for me that
can be English sarcasm :)) and if any of you out there reading this
who are like me born in London will know too well what i mean :)) but
you learn to handle it and become much more diplomatic with
experience.

Although I do get moments when i want to leave London and live in
Cairo for a while just for the experience as i have never done it,
but deep down inside London will always be home for me. You can take
the person out of whatever country it may be whether its London or
the USA but you can never take that country out of the person.

I hope my words have helped you see the positive side of it.
